How will you close the gaps before the end of the year?

Did you know there are only 103 days left until the end of 2018?

As the end of the year approaches, this is a great time to review your progress to date, to ask yourself and your team some fundamental questions such as:

  • Am I/we on target to meet what was set for us in 2018
  • Which areas do I need to give more attention to in the next 100 days
  • What are my Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) saying to me
  • In what areas am I going in my leadership this year
  • Who have I helped to develop this year in their leadership

A robust review at this time of year can help to bring clarity — clarity of progress, as well as clarity of what still needs to be addressed.

As you grow your company and team to success, it is always worth remembering that successful companies are not born, they are strategically built. As I coach my clients as they look to build sustainable businesses, we always look at the big picture — the picture of success and the strategic moves that need to take place to close the gap between expectations and results.

Leaders lead. They don’t just think and hope. They lead and take responsibility and they can recognise at anytime where their company is against the mission, vision, and values they hold. However, not only do leaders see and recognise where the gaps are, but they’re prepared to take the bold moves to look to close those gaps.
